Years ago I tried Ethiopian food in an Ethiopian restaurant in Malate the name of which I don't remember anymore. More recently, I had some in Sweden, of all places. Between that hardly-remembered Malate expedition and my jet-lagged Swedish dining experience, a significant change occurred in me: I learned to enjoy spicy food.
